Grooming By LaRee is a Full Service Pet Grooming shop in Pequot Lakes, MN. We offer bathing and grooming service for dog and cats. Because we are a small shop we get to know you and your pet like close friends, so you never feel lost in the shuffle.

Bath & Blow Dry

All natural shampoo, rinse and repeat as necessary. Plus nail trim, ear cleaning and anal gland check. Finish with high-velocity drying and comb out. This service is also a great option for in-between grooms. *Teeth brushing upon request.

Bath & De-Shed Blow Dry

This service is for dogs that have an undercoat and shed. This includes, nail trimming, ear cleaning, anal gland check as well as brushing and remove any loose undercoat. We use our specialized shampoo and conditioner that loosens the undercoat to provide maximum de-shedding results. We use our high-velocity dryer combined with Professional grooming tools to remove the undercoat that is now ready to shed. This process may cause more shedding over the next few days and we recommend brushing the coat thoroughly to help remove any additional hair. *Teeth brushing upon request.

Full Groom Package

Our full groom Service Package starts with our all natural shampoo, hydro-bath system to help remove dry skin, along with facial shampoo to tear-free clean faces. This includes, a nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland check. We work hard to create a customized groom tailored to each pet owners desire. Please plan on a minimum of 2-3 hours for this service. *Teeth brushing upon request.

Cat Packages

We do offer pet grooming for cooperative cats. We do not have a Veterinarian on staff so we are unable to offer or administer any tranquilizers or any other medication to calm kitty's. We do recommend owners stay to help hold, knowing their owners are there really helps, and we notice kitty's are calmer for the grooming process when they can feel and hear their owners. We only offer bathing service to cats who have been bathed before.

VIP - Very Important Puppy Package

This is the perfect package for your puppy! This package is perfect for puppies 12wks-9months old that have never been groomed before. The goal is to get your puppy used to the grooming process as well as the tools used during grooming. You will pay the fee at the 1st appointment and set up 2 more appointments 4 weeks apart. Package includes one Full Groom appt and two Bath and Brush appt which include: neaten up face, feet as well as privates. We also have a special “Goodie Bag" with recommended grooming tools as well as special gifts to help you keep up on in between maintenance grooming. *Teeth brushing upon request.

WALK-IN Services that DO NOT require an appointment. So come in during grooming shop hours and receive any of the following services for your dog while you wait.

SERVICE:

We try very hard to not stress out or rush the animals. We ask for a 2-hour window to get your pet ready and back in your arms. We usually stick to that schedule but we ask for your patience if we end up a little behind.

Summer and Holidays are our busiest time and we have many customers who schedule their appointments ahead of time so that they won’t miss out. If you need a certain day, don’t be afraid to book ahead.

We ask for a 24-hour notice for cancellations. If you can’t make your appointment, just call and let us know ASAP.

Are we booked on the day you need? Ask to be put on our cancellation list!

Brush and touch your dog at home. We know when a dog is not used to getting brushed or having their feet or ears touched. We’ll be happy to show you how. Getting your dog used to grooming, brushing, and touching will make their appointment at the groomer a lot less stressful for them (and us).

Food + nervous belly = poop and/or vomit) PLEASE don’t feed your pet shortly before their appointment. (Unless they have a medical condition like diabetes.)

All dogs must be on a leash.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule. We groom, on average, 15 dogs a day. We have to work very hard to get everyone’s dog groomed without booking multiple weeks out. To groom a dog, each dog must be bathed and completely dried before getting their hair cut. And when someone is late, it puts everyone else behind.

Because we have limited space, all dogs must be picked up within 3 hours of their groom appointment. If that is not possible, Stay And Play Pet Resort offers ½ day daycare for just $20.00 a day.

Any dog left here after closing will be charged a $25.00 Boarding fee.
